It’s Never Too Early to Get Your Children Involved in Golf.

One of the most common questions I get from parents is, “When is the right time to introduce my child to golf?” My answer is always the same: Now is the time to start! Whether your child is three or thirteen, early exposure to the game lays the foundation for a lifelong passion.
At Palmetto Dunes, we welcome young players of all skill levels and ages. From toddlers to teens, our programs are designed to nurture confidence, coordination, and character—on and off the course. Parents often marvel at how quickly their children absorb lessons. That’s no accident. We combine expert instruction with engaging activities to make learning fun and memorable.
Lil Swingers (Ages 3+)
This playful, song-filled class introduces the basics of golf in a fun and nurturing environment. With a 5:1 student-teacher ratio and parent participation encouraged, even our youngest golfers gain skills and confidence with every swing.
Junior Clinics (Ages 8-17)
Our motto: Fun, Friends, and Fresh Air. These dynamic clinics focus on mastering three key golf shots per day, alongside instruction in rules and etiquette. Kids leave each session with new skills and a big smile.
Don’t worry about equipment—we provide everything your junior golfer needs to get started.
Still unsure? Here are a few quotes from our students on why they love it:
•“The ball waits on me.”
•“No one’s yelling at me to run.”
•“It’s actually fun!”
Golf is more than a game! It’s a journey. Come plant the seeds with us this summer at Palmetto Dunes. Watch your child grow into a confident, capable golfer for life.
