1. The Island Recreation Center’s Annual Pumpkin Patch Event

2. Dempsey Farms
Located just 15 minutes from Hilton Head Island, Dempsey Farms offers a wide variety of pumpkins perfect for carving or decorating. Visitors can also take a hayride through their fields and participate in other fun fall activities like corn mazes and pony rides. Dempsey Farms offers pumpkins for sale in the shop or farmstand, a pumpkin patch-pick in the field.

11 miles east of Beaufort on Highway 21 South. Head west on US-278. Exit onto SC-170 East toward Beaufort. Turn right onto SC-128. Slight right onto US-21/Parris Island Gateway. Turn right onto US-21 S/Ladys Island Dr. Turn right onto US-21 S/Sea Island Pkwy.

3. Holiday Farms’ Great Pumpkin Patch

Directions from Hilton Head:
Get on 170 towards Beaufort. Just past Oldfield, take the first paved road to the left- SC-462. Follow until it dead ends at Coosawhatchie. Turn right onto SC-462 for .6 miles. Make a left onto SC-462/Morgan Dollar Rd. for 4 miles to a dead end. Turn right onto US-278/Grays Hwy. for 1.4 miles to The Great Pumpkin Patch on the right—look for the big orange pumpkin.

5. Carteret Street United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
Located in Downtown Beaufort, the Carteret Street United Methodist Church’s lawn becomes a pumpkin patch, run by church volunteers. The Patch will be open daily beginning September 21 through the month of October. Hours are 12-6 pm, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturdays and noon-6 p.m. on Sundays.
Directions from Hilton Head:
Take Hwy. 278 West to Hwy. 170. Turn right (East) to head to Beaufort. Use the right 2 lanes to turn right onto US-21 Business/Boundary St. Continue to follow Boundary St., which eventually turns a 90 degree right and into Cateret St. The Church will be on the right at the corner of North St.
