Palmetto Dunes Pickleball Center has become the hub of pickleball activity on Hilton Head Island.
There is no other venue that offers Island guests and residents the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in this sport that is taking the country by storm.
In the past four years, Palmetto Dunes has introduced pickleball to approximately 4,500 people through introductory pickleball clinics. The goal in these clinics is to have new players become familiar with the sport’s rules and basic strategies. With this solid foundation, they may feel comfortable joining drop-in programs in their local communities.
This year, Palmetto Dunes rolled out a new set of clinic programs called the Daily Dose. This series of five clinics is repeated each week. They concentrate on the nuances of the game and is essential to improving your skill level. The adage that practice makes perfect is simply not true — PERFECT PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!
Come learn the effective strategies and techniques that are essential to improving your game from some of the best instructors in the sport. Sarah Ansboury, Palmetto Dunes’ Touring Professional and Director of Pickleball Instruction is one of the top female players in the game today.
Daily Dose clinics are offered Monday through Friday from 9-10 a.m. Pro-supervised round robin immediately follow. Make sure to stay to practice those newly learned skills.
