Pickleball Happenings
For those who have not been to Hilton Head Island since last summer, you will notice some big changes at the Palmetto Dunes Tennis and Pickleball Center. We have expanded our facility to include eight additional fully dedicated pickleball courts, bringing our total number of pickleball courts to 16 — all of which are lighted for night play.
The highlight of our programming remains the pro-supervised morning pickleball round robin, where all 16 courts are utilized. These popular events challenge players at every skill level with competitive play. Players are grouped by skill level, and the pro rotates players to ensure that everyone is competing at their skill level. The round robin is a great way to meet other pickleball players who are visiting the Island in a fun, social environment.
Every morning Palmetto Dunes holds Pickleball round robins, seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to noon.
For anyone looking for an introduction to pickleball we offer Beginner clinics. Take an advanced clinic to fine-tune your game. Players must be over the age of 13 to participate. We encourage reservations.
The Palmetto Dunes Pickleball Club is another great way to improve your game by playing more frequently at a reduced member rate. Monthly memberships are available for $25 for individuals and $40 for families. Memberships are available for longer periods as well.
