Summer has passed us by, and the prospect of cooler, less humid weather is welcome indeed!
With the start of school, we typically see fewer families and the return of couples who want to enjoy our good weather and the many great outdoor activities that Hilton Head has to offer, including golf, tennis. And there’s plenty of Pickleball fun in Autumn.
For those of you who haven’t experienced pickleball, we encourage you to give it a try. The beginner clinics at Palmetto Dunes are structured to get you playing, regardless of your sports pedigree. We highly recommend that if you’ve never played, or if you have started to play but have not had any formal introduction, take one of our Beginner Clinics and stay to play in our round robin that follows. You will certainly enhance your experience if you do both.
Our pro-supervised round robins pair you with people at your own skill level. If you’re already a pickleball addict—and, yes, it is addictive—you will find our round robins to be competitive, social and, most importantly, fun.
Beginner Clinics take place on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 9 a.m. Intermediate Clinics take place on Tuesday and Thursday at 9 a.m. Round robins take place daily from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and on Tuesday and Thursday from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
I hope to see you on the courts!
