Hang Ten
Surf lessons are taught year-round by Hilton Head Outfitters’ certified surfing instructors. Hilton Head’s one- or two-foot waves are perfect to learn how to surf. Class times change each day depending on high tide. All surf lessons run for 90 minutes and require pre-registration.
The minimum age for group lessons is seven years old. Children five or six years old are welcome but require private instruction to ensure safety in the water and to have help constantly available for handling the surfboard. Adults of all ages are always welcome!
Kayak & Canoe Rentals
There are several Hilton Head Island kayaking and canoeing routes from which you can choose, depending on the desired length of your adventure. Witness an assortment of wildlife or try catching a variety of fish, such as a sea trout or black drum.
