HarbourFest:
In its 33rd year, HarbourFest’s nightly celebration takes over Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina with fireworks, spinning hats, carnival games, face painting, music and more. Enjoy the very popular entertainment of Shannon Tanner and Cappy the Clown. Tuesday nights hold all the flair with fireworks when the sky is dark, plus a holiday show on Monday, July 4. (No show Tuesday, July 5). Harbour Town Fourth of July Parade:
Show off your red, white and blue spirit by decorating your bicycle, wagon, dog or kids for a fun-filled Fourth of July parade around Harbour Town. Register at 8:30 a.m and pick up decorating supplies. Salute from the Shore:
Salute from the Shore is a unique opportunity to salute our armed forces, while celebrating Independence Day on our beaches. A military flyover will stretch the entire length of South Carolina’s coast, to include military planes and vintage aircrafts. The fighter jets should arrive 1:30 p.m., followed by vintage military planes around 1:45 p.m. www.salutefromtheshore.org.
