As Hospice Care of the Lowcountry’s largest annual fundraiser, Yacht Hop is hosted at the Inland Harbour in Wexford. Yacht Hop 2023 will be on Saturday, May 13th from 4 -9:30 p.m. Rain date is Monday, May 15th from 4- 9:30 p.m.
This is not just any yacht party, but an event where guests can tour exquisite yachts while indulging in mouthwatering hors d’oeuvres and masterfully-crafted cocktails. The party takes place in a unique multi-level venue that overlooks the stunning Inland Habour, providing a spectacular view while guests mingle and network with others.

For almost twenty years, it has raised funds for the Hospice Care of the Lowcountry. This non-profit organization has been a pillar of the community for over 40 years. Providing care for patients nearing the end-of-life, and their loved ones, the Hospice is a key player in the local medical scene. Without the support of the fundraiser, it would not be able to continue serving those in need. The impact of the Yacht Hop permeates throughout the community, with businesses and donors generously contributing to make it a success year after year. A night of fun and revelry with a higher purpose, the Yacht Hop has become much more than just a party.
Hospice Care of the Lowcountry’s History:
Back in 1982, a group of caring friends gathered around a kitchen table on Hilton Head Island. Their mission – to help those experiencing great pain in their final days. They recognized that many wanted to spend their remaining time surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of their own homes. Thus, Hospice Care of the Lowcountry was founded, offering compassionate care to those who were isolated in unfamiliar surroundings.
Through collaboration with local medical professionals, a community of compassionate individuals created the “Hospice Volunteers of Hilton Head”. With limited financial resources, the organization flourished through education and advocacy, providing crucial support to those in need. Thanks to the tireless work of volunteers and staff, dozens of patients and their families have been able to receive compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care.
