Candles have been around for centuries, providing light and warmth in homes across the world. But candles have become more than just a functional item. They are a popular home decor and self-care product. And what better way to personalize your candle than by making it yourself? A visit to Sea Love is a unique and fun experience that allows you to create your very own custom-scented candle. From choosing from over 100 unique fragrances to pouring the wax, this activity allows you to tap into your creativity and make something special. Plus, it’s a great keepsake from your trip to Hilton Head.
The custom candle experience typically takes 45–60 minutes. During your visit, beer and wine are available for purchase to enjoy while creating your candle. Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are always welcome. Should you have to wait for a seat at the candle bar, explore their fragrance wall and browse the elegant home fragrances, stylish decor, unique gifts, cozy clothing, and statement jewelry in their boutique. And don’t miss their happy hour special for $5 drinks while you are making your candle. Happy hour is from 4-6 p.m., Monday-Friday.
Once poured, your candles take two hours to cool before they are ready to take home.
If you’d like to pick up your candle on the same day, please make your reservation at least three hours before closing to allow sufficient time for cooling. If you plan to enjoy a meal at one of the local restaurants, pour your candle first and return when it’s cool. The Shops at Sea Pines Center is a short stroll from several restaurants and boutiques, making it easy to explore. If same-day pickup isn’t possible, you’re welcome to stop by and collect your candle anytime within the next two weeks.
Each candle poured or reed diffuser made is individually priced and charged at the time of your experience. Prices range from $42 to $54 per person, depending on the size of the vessel you choose.
Located in Sea Pines, a gated resort community, at the Shops at Sea Pines Center, there is a $9 CASH gate fee. You’ll find them situated in Suite 612, next to the Sea Pines Liquor Store and behind Giuseppe’s Pizza.
