The Harbour Town Yacht Basin adds ValvTect 2015 Marina of the Year to its list of accolades.

Harbour Town’s accolades also includes 2015 Marina of the Year by Marina Dock Age Magazine and second in Marinalife’s 2015 Best Marina Contest.
Marine fuel supplier ValvTect Petroleum presented Harbourmaster Nancy Cappelmann with this award at the ValvTect Marina of the Year award dinner held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Given annually to a ValvTect Certified Marina, the award honors outstanding operation, commitment to customer service and environmental stewardship. Hilton Head Island’s very own Harbour Town now brandishes this honor.

“We value our partnership with ValvTect,” said Cappelmann. “ValvTect provides our boaters the cleanest and most efficient fuel products on the market.”
Constructed in 1969, its design mimics a famous harbor in Portofino, Italy.
Charles Fraser, the founder and developer of The Sea Pines Resort, directed the construction. Anchored by the red-and-white-striped Harbour Town Lighthouse, this full-service marina is located on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. The Basin offers 100 slip rentals and sales, fuel, marine supplies and apparel and professional and yacht sales. It offers access to a great array of amenities and activities situated right on the Calibogue Sound. It is located within The Sea Pines Resort and surrounded by everything from shops and restaurants to watersport, fishing charter and sightseeing cruise companies.
