Lowcountry Celebration Park
The Lowcountry Celebration Park is home to the Adventure Playground. The Adventure Playground, named after the ship Captain William Hilton was on when he discovered Hilton Head Island. It features a reimagined design of the ship, playground, wading pool and more.
Gregg Russell Harbour Town Playground
Named in tribute to the legendary Gregg Russell, who has delighted audiences with his musical performances under Harbour Town’s famed Liberty Oak for 40 years, this nature-inspired playground features an incredible tree house embracing a great Live oak and numerous play centers for hours of fun.
The playground is adjacent to Harbour Town’s main parking lot and wonderful collection of shops and restaurants, so you can easily grab a bite to eat or relax in a rocking chair with an ice cream cone afterward.

Coligny Beach Park Fountain
Coligny Beach Park is Hilton Head Island’s most popular oceanfront park. It doesn’t have your typical jungle gym playground, but kids love frolicking in its fountain. This dancing fountain is a great way for kids of all ages to cool off and predict when and where the next splashing spout will erupt.

Chaplin Community Park
Chaplin Community Park is Hilton Head Island’s largest and most diverse park. Located off of William Hilton Pkwy., between Burkes Beach Road and Singleton Beach Road.
This diverse park also features a public tennis complex with six courts, basketball courts, multi-purpose fields, extensive trails, beach access, picnic pavilions, multiple restroom facilities, and the Town’s only dog park.
Shelter Cove Community Park
The playground at Shelter Cove Community Park offers lots of fun features, including a small climbing wall, a tube slide, swinging bridge and lots of sliding poles. Located at 39 Shelter Cove Ln.
Jarvis Creek Park
Located off William Hilton Parkway on Jarvis Creek Rd., this park’s playground is adjacent to picnic shelters and restroom facilities, so families can take a break and get back to playing. The 53-acre park also includes a large pond, fishing pier and open fields.
Barker Field
Barker Field is located on the north end of Hilton Head Island at 70 Baygall Rd. Its playground is on the site of the park’s baseball/softball and multipurpose fields, next to a restroom building. After playtime, take the kiddos down the boardwalk to an observation deck overlooking Port Royal Sound.
Greens Shell Park
Greens Shell Park is a great neighborhood park, located off Squire Pope Rd. Along with its playground this park provides a picnic pavilion, a basketball court and restroom facilities.
