The Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Music Director and Conductor John Morris Russell, will continue the orchestra’s 35th season, “Music of Grandeur and Majesty” with Viva Espaňa, a program bringing to the audience the vibrant musical traditions of Latin culture.
The program will include violinist Stephen Waarts performing Lalo’s Symphonie espanole and the HHSO offering Gershwin’s Cuban Overture and de Falla’s Suites from “The Three Cornered Hat.” Performances will be on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016 at 4 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 14, 2016 at 8 p.m. in Hilton Head’s First Presbyterian Church. Maestro Russell will conduct a pre-concert chat an hour before each performance. A reception will follow Monday’s concert in the church’s Gathering Space.
Concert tickets are $30, $45 and $55. Reduced matinee prices are available for children with their accompanying parent.
