This year promises to be even bigger and better. The parade kicks off at 10:15 a.m., and the party will go on into the night. Savannah, especially River Street, is the place to be for food, fun, live entertainment, and a bit of the green.
Leave The Driving To Us. With so many people streaming into the city, driving and parking are always challenging. Most visitors end up parking at one of the satellite lots on the city’s outskirts, riding public transportation into the historic district, and then stopping at checkpoints during their drive home. We will have one departure time this year. 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Parade Cruise). This trip will allow you to arrive before the beginning of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Keep in mind that there is a 1-hour 45-minute travel time each way from Hilton Head to Savannah. With these cruises, you will spend roughly 6 hours in Savannah.
