“The Story of Mitchelville” will be presented at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 1, 2016 as a part of the Tuesday Morning History Program at The Heritage Library. Hear the story of the establishment of Mitchelville, the nation’s first self-governed, freed slave village and the reasons why it should be remembered. $10 per person; reservations are required.
