Hilton Head The Mary Green Chorale, the Lowcountry’s premier choral ensemble, is proud to present “To Cecelia.”
Cecelia, the Patron Saint of Music, inspires this varied program which includes works by Handel, Britten, Fauré, Finney, and Thompson, among others. Harpist Kathleen Wilson and pianist Gerald Anderson will accompany Men’s, Women’s, and Full Ensemble along with soloists and engaging commentary. Founded in 2012, MGC is a nonprofit(501)(c)(3) cultural and educational organization, dedicated to bringing quality choral music to the Lowcountry. Its founder, Mary Woodmansee Green, brings a wealth of experience to the ensemble of trained singers, many from professional music backgrounds.
