The Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn will continue to offer Sweetgrass Basket Making classes this fall. Wreath making class will be held Saturdays, December 5 and 12 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Learn about the history of the Sweetgrass basket, one of the Lowcountry’s best known art forms, from a local Gullah basket maker. Then, try your hand at starting a wreath of your own using locally found natural materials.
