First Presbyterian Church of Hilton Head Island will hold a free silent movie night at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017. The movie will be Buster Keaton’s “The General,” an action-adventure-comedy silent movie made in 1926, with organ accompaniment by Chad Martin, organist. The movie is often ranked among the greatest American films ever made and is based on the Great Locomotive Chase, a true story from the Civil War.
