The Coastal Discovery Museum, located at 70 Honey Horn Dr., will host Sea Turtles, By Land and Sea on Nov. 2, 3016 at 3 p.m. This program will take a close look at the offshore sea turtle research conducted by the SCDNR and provide an update on sea turtle monitoring in South Carolina and the south Atlantic, looking at beach nesting efforts and offshore research efforts by SCDNR. Dr. Al Segars, a veterinarian with the SCDNR, who has a long career studying the endangered and threatened species on our coast will be the presenter. $7 per person.
