February 21: The Palmetto Quilt Guild will meet from noon to 3 p.m., at the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Club, 40 Folly Field Rd., Hilton Head Island. Guest speaker is Valeria Hill, Quilt Teacher, Longarm Quilt Teacher and Gammell Sales Rep from northeast PA. She has been sharing her piecing knowledge and turn-under applique at local quilt shops since 2000. She does longarm quilting for herself and others. For the past several years, she has been doing fabric dyeing and using some of these fabrics for her piecing. https://www.valhillquilting.com/.
