Mitchelville Preservation Project will debut their signature dinner and dance, Blues and BBQ, featuring Deas Guyz, on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the The NEW Northridge Club, located at 435 William Hilton Pkwy., from 5-9 p.m. The event features a slow-cooked BBQ dinner paired with handcrafted desserts, prepared with traditional Lowcountry recipes prepared by Ruby Lee’s. A cash bar will be available for beer, wine and spirits.
Mitchelville’s Blues and BBQ is a signature event and fundraiser for the Mitchelville Preservation Project. Proceeds from this event will support research and educational programs that provide deeper knowledge of the people that inhabited Mitchelville. Individual tickets start at $65.
