The Palmetto Plant Eaters Club is hosting their annual vegan festival, Lowcountry VegFest, on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Shelter Cove Community Park on Hilton Head Island. There will be ample vegan food from area restaurants, vegan beer and wine gardens, food cooking demonstrations, speakers on vegan topics, vegan advocacy, and compassionate entertainment for the children. Public admittance to the Lowcountry VegFest is free and there will be opportunities to win and receive free vegan merchandise.
The goal of the Lowcountry VegFest is to teach & show how fun and easy it is to eat and live vegan in the Lowcountry and why you would like to do so for your health, the animals, and environmental conservation.
