The Coastal Discovery Museum will host Lowcountry Dolphins on August 31 at 3 p.m. with Pete Schramm. This talk will give the audience new insights into this fascination creature. It’s an excellent opportunity to acquire a broad knowledge and appreciation of the bottlenose dolphin. The talk includes an overview of dolphin anatomy, physiology, cognition, communication and social dynamics of these remarkable marine mammals. Conservation and captivity issues will also be addressed. $7 per person (for adult audience of 12 and older) and advance reservations are required by calling (843) 689-6767 ext. 223.
