Kayak Tour with Todd Ballantine

May 10: Kayak Tour with Todd Ballantine! Award winning naturalist and author, Todd Ballantine will lead a guided Sea Kayak nature tour from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. from Shelter Cove Marina. Outside Hilton Head will host the program, with proceeds from admission going to the Outside Foundation, a local non-profit charged with getting kids outside and protecting and preserving the local ecosystem. The two-hour tour will combine an introduction to sea kayaking with an informative and educational interpretive nature tour. Following a brief paddling clinic by a certified Outside Hilton Head kayak guide, Mr. Ballantine will lead the tour through several creeks and inlets which boarder along the Broad Creek marshlands. Following the tour Mr. Ballantine will sign copies of his books, which will be available for purchase at the Outside Hilton Head Outpost in Shelter Cove Marina, from where the trip departs.
