Directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Eternal Polk, this powerful documentary delves into the challenges of Black land ownership in the U.S., examining Heirs’ Property laws and the fight to reclaim generational wealth. Executive-produced by Al Roker, this film sheds light on the enduring struggle for justice. - Panel Discussion:
After the screening, join a live discussion moderated by Dr. Sam Livingston, Associate Professor of Africana Studies at Morehouse College. The panel includes: Eternal Polk, Director of Gaining Ground and Joe McGill, Founder of the Slave Dwelling Project
