Hands Across The Sand

Please join us for Hand Across the Sand Event at Coligny Beach, HHI. Let’s stand together for clean seas.
Hands Across the Sand is a nation wide event where people from all over stand for a campaign they support. Look for the Palmetto Ocean Conservancy tent located on the beach near the walk way path. You will be greeted by our guardians of the sea volunteers. We will form a line promptly at 11:50 and hold hands at 12:00 for 2 minutes to get a drone shot of all us us lined together. It will be followed by a beach clean up and guest speakers will be available to chat about sustainability in our town. Make some signs for Clean Seas with Palmetto Ocean Conservancy heading and let’s hold hands to unite. Bring your reusable bottle to fuel up with H2O and garden gloves/or reusable gloves to pick up the trash. For more information, click here.
