Get out with a docent from the Coastal Discovery Museum on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. to see the Forts of Port Royal – the sites where it all happened, from early explorers through the Civil War and beyond, explore Mitchelville, Fort Walke, and the Steam Cannon. Please, no children under 7 years of age.
Forts of Port Royal meets at the Port Royal Golf Clubhouse and is $12 for adults, $7 for children (ages 7-12 only) and reservations are required by calling (843) 384-0959 or going online to coastaldiscovery.org.
