A “Providence Presents” evening concert is Thursday, January 23 at 6:30 pm at Providence Presbyterian Church. It is free and everyone is invited. The youth choir will participate in the 11 a.m. Sunday worship at Providence by singing two anthems with the Providence Chancel Choir and special music by themselves. We send American missionaries to other countries. Now, 19 elementary and middle school students from Korea will visit Hilton Head January 20-27 on their mission trip. Their Jubilee choir has inspired residents here twice in past years. The children will sing at several retirement homes including Indigo Pines and TidePointe, and will present concerts at Providence Presbyterian Church, St Helena in Beaufort and the AGO Handbell Festival at St Luke’s. In addition, they will sing at Hilton Head IB elementary and the Good News Club at IB. Providence Church is at 171 Cordillo Parkway, about halfway between Pope Ave., and the Ocean Gate to Sea Pines.
