Become an expert beachcomber with Coastal Discovery Museum’s Mitchelville Beach Discovery Walks on Tuesdays at 2 p.m., May-August 2017! Explore our ever-changing marine environment. Learn about living fossils. Discover why sea turtles “dig the dark.” Meet at Mitchelville Beach to spot shorebirds, search for sea shells and learn about how our beaches are formed and changed with each cycle of the tide. The Mitchelville Beach Discovery Walks are $12 for adults and $7 for children and reservations are required by calling (843) 689-6767 ext. 223 or going to coastaldiscovery.org.
