September 30-October 19: The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina presents To Kill a Mockingbird! An American classic, To Kill a Mockingbird takes place in Alabama during the Great Depression and follows the journey of Scout and Jem Finch. Their father has been appointed to defend Tom Robinson, a black man framed for a crime he didn’t commit. As the trial progresses, Jem and Scout witness their community in a tense tug of war between justice and prejudice.
