April 25-26: The 25th annual Art Market hosted by the Coastal Discovery Museum returns to the Island this month. 90+ accomplished artists from around the country participate in this outdoor fine art and craft sale. Stroll through artists’ booths under historic live oaks to find that perfect piece of original art to take home. Fine art and crafts in all shapes, sizes, styles, price ranges and mediums will be available for purchase during this weekend. Enjoy live music, delicious food and drinks, with shaded seating under the Mary Ann Peeples Pavilion and throughout the scenic grounds. The outdoor show is open to the public on Sat., 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. and on Sun., 10 a.m.-4 p.m. $5 per person admission fee; children 12 and under are free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Tickets are available for purchase online or at the gate. Please note: Pets are not permitted inside the Art Market. Service animals are welcome.
