The Palmetto Brass Ensemble will present a Christmas Concert at the Lowcountry Presbyterian Church, 10 Simmonsville Road, on Friday, Dec. 9, 2016 at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary. The Palmetto Brass Ensemble has 13 members that include the top musicians from the Lowcountry area, with three trumpets, two French horns, three trombones, a tuba and four percussionists. There will even be some sing-along songs led by Robin Lind.
The selection of music will include “Angels from the Realms of Glory,” “Infant Holy, Infant Lowly,” “The Holly and the Ivy,” “Bring a Torch, Jeanette, Isabella,” “How Great our Joy,” I Wonder as I Wander,” “Oh, Come, All Ye Faithful,” “Oh Holy Night,” The Virgin Mary had a Baby Boy,” “Jolly Old St. Nicholas” and “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” plus a few sing-along songs let by Dr. Robin Lind, the Lowcountry Presbyterian Church music director.
