March 2: The 21st annual William P. Stevens Jr. Pro-Am Classic will be held at Moss Creek Plantation’s Devils Elbow South Course. The event will benefit Volunteers in Medicine. More than 150 amateur and professional golfers will be participating. Golfers will receive a tee package and have the opportunity to compete for prizes, while pros will play for $2,500 in purse winnings. An awards ceremony with beer, wine and hors d’oeuvres will immediately follow play in the clubhouse. Registration is $250 per person, and includes the post tournament reception.
