November 5 – 7, 2020: The Second Annual Lantern Parade looks a little different this year, for obvious reasons! Enter the Hilton Head Island Lantern Parade-in-Place, a wonderfully enchanting weekend when the parade will come to you!
Over three nights (Thurs 11/5, Fri 11/6, & Sat 11/7) the community may display their lanterns in their front yards or driveways! Artist Chantelle Rytter and her “Krewe” will parade their larger-than-life, glowing masterpieces through our neighborhoods for the community to enjoy.
The parade route will be determined by areas with the highest level of participation. There will be a Puppet Tracker Map to determine when the parade is near you!
A marquee event of Crescendo, the Lantern Parade-in-Place is a free and wonderful opportunity to celebrate the history, ecology and people of Hilton Head Island.
