Embrace the joy of paddling at the OluKai Lowcountry Boil Paddle Battle.
This year we are proud to be hosting the 2024 USA SUP National Championships. 100% of the 2024 standup paddle race proceeds from the Lowcountry Boil Paddle Battle benefit The Outside Foundation. The Outside Foundation has a mission to get every child in Beaufort County in a kayak during their middle school years. The Outside Foundation also is involved with regular water-oriented trash clean-up efforts and a unique oyster recycling program.
Friday, September 6th:
- 9:00 AM Sprint Racer Check-in (Rowing and Sailing Center, Squire Pope Road)
- 10:00 AM-1:00 PM- Sprint Races and Awards
- 2:00-7:00 PM Board and Boat Storage Open
- Board/Boat Demos TBD
- 4-7 PM MANDATORY Packet pick up for racers not participating in the 200m Sprints (Outside Hilton Head, Plaza at Shelter Cove)
Saturday, September 7th schedule:
- 7:00-8:15 AM Racer check-in and board storage open
- 8:30 AM Racer Meeting (Rowing and Sailing Center, Squire Pope Road)
- 9:00 AM Endurance Course Start (surfski and OC boats)
- 9:30-10 AM 10K and Short Course Start (5K Aloha Cup)
- 12:00-1:00 PM Lunch
- 1:30 PM Awards Ceremony
Sunday, September 8th schedule (Sea Pines Resort Beach Club):
- 8:00 AM Racer check-in
- 9:00 AM Technical SUP/Prone Sprints on the beach and Awards
