Dear Hilton Head Islanders, I am a keen golfer from the UK coming to HHI for his honeymoon between 5th and 18th September. 2 years ago i was playing off 4 handicap but more recently i have slid back to playing off 7. I am looking to play a round of golf at one of your courses during my stay. Does anyone want to team up for a round of Golf with me or take me round their course as a Guest. I am happy to play anywhere really as ever since i started playing golf when i was 9 i have dreamed of playing a course in the states. We've never visited Hilton Head. Our best friends just returned from vacation and had included Hilton Head in their travel. They commented that the are is absolutely beautiful.

WOW! Even though my husband and I came all the way from WA State just to find rain here too :)! The drive alone from Savannah airport was absolutely beautiful. We are staying at the Residence Inn, very nice homey place. I love how everything here is hidden i.e. grocery stores, gas stations etc... You never really see any strip malls, even though they are here. Whom ever designed this beautiful place was very imaginative. Hey Yall- Hilton Head Island and especially Palmetto Dunes Plantation are soo Beautiful! I stayed at Palmetto Dunes for a week in a condo and I loved getting up in the morning and taking walks or a bike ride around the palm trees and the large oak trees. Playing tennis and golf anytime. My family and I (+ friends) have been coming to HHI since my 16th birthday. (I'll be 24 this May). We come back every year and it has become a tradition. HHI is the best place ever to vacation. Wow!! What a visit. Just the Country Club of Hilton Head, qualifying site of the 2005 US Open. What a golf course, what an experience!! Outstanding!! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Hilton Head. We are even considering membership. They have a non-resident membership that is very affordable. Beautiful club with all the amenities. Try the new restaurant "Frankie Bones." Went twice the week we were there. Awesome!! Thanks for a great vacation.

My husband and I came to Hilton Head Island for our honeymoon almost 25 years ago, thanks to his aunt and uncle, Darlene and John Baima. We took our children there the first time in 1992 and have been back several times. We stayed on Hilton Head for the first time Oct. 30-Nov. 6. The weather was delightful. The reservation at Sea Crest Surf and Racket Club was an ideal location across the street from Coligny Plaza. The resort is in the renovation process but workmanship is questionable. This is not a luxury resort but an adequate one. Our unit was in dire need of new carpet or at least carpet cleaning. Thos with small children who play on the floor would not stay. The location is superb, though and the pool area a real place of relaxation.

Our family has been vacationing on HHI for over 20 years. We still love it although it sure has changed and become so much more busy. My husband and I just returned yesterday from HHI and have been visiting this same week in September for several years along with our 1-week timeshare in June. We only had one dissappointment this visit and it was at Captain's Seafood Resturant. We have been eating there at least once every visit but this time the quality just wasn't there. The best seafood was at Steamers for the price. Also give Parrot's Cove at Shelter Cove a try for lunch, we just love it. Would like to communicate with anyone that has a 23 week timeshare at Harbour Point. We need to rent a second villa for this week or possibly buy one.

We stay at the Adventure Inn on Forest Beach. The best condos on the beach. Great food at Fitzgerald's. This will be my 3rd year there and just bought a time share at Adventure Inn. You would not be disappointed by staying there!!! What a beautiful, clean and family oriented atmosphere!!!!!

I remember seeing a TV advertisement saying you could buy certificates for 10$ and they were worth double at a few rest. Any info on this. Hilton Head Island is my favorite place in the world. I've gone since I was 7 months old and this will be my 13th year. My family has been going for 19 years and I can't wait for this summer. You don't need any plans. They will all work out when you get there. There are inumerable things to do with little children up to whatever age. Renting bikes is fun and I always loved the Water Park. I usually go crabbing. We spend several nights out. If you've never been you are missing out on a lot and definately should plan a trip. I am only 12 years old and I have family of all ages that love this trip. We have already started counting down to our trip in 4 months!

ok, i am 13 years old, and i have been coming to HHI ever summer since i was about 4 or so. i think it is the best thing ever! coligny plaza has some of the best shops, including clothing, toys, build a bear, and more! it also has entertainment, including an Elvis Impersonator! the villas are amazing. my family owns one on a golf course, and i is so relaxing! the beach we go to, the Sea Pines Beach, can get rather crowded, but most of the time they are pretty peaceful and it is a blast to play in the warm water or go up to the snack bar, gift shop, bar, or shaved ice station. there is also a large shower station and public bathrooms. as a tradition, my family and i go to the Salty Dog Cafe located in the south beach marina. we usually buy a few things from the Salty Dog Shop shop there. the restaurant can be packed, in which case, if weather permits, you can simply eat on the large deck, overlooking the marshes/marina with live entertainment and a nice bar. well, obviously, hilton head is a wonderful place to travel to for vacation, and i HIGHLY reccommend it.........even though i am only 13..... feel free to instant message me or email me!

First time visit to HHI...loved it! Loved Hichey's Chicago Bar and Grill. Don't miss coligony Square..Steamers was good...Harbor Town is a must..loved Crab City. Upscale Oliviers and Michael Anthony's were wonderful (New Orleans Rd) Don't forget Salty Dog at South Beach..do lunch not dinner.

I went to Hilton Head once as a small child with my family. 25 Years later our entire family decided to go back with all of our children and our parents. It was more beautiful than ever and our children love it. We try and go every other year now, and we always stay on Sea Pines. Our favorite thing to do is bicycle to Harbour Town in the morning, spend the afternoon on the beach, and head to South Beach Marina after supper for drinks and to listen to the music. It is such a family oriented atmosphere...we love it there and hope to return for many years to come.

I love Hilton Head! It's the best. My family and I have been going to HH since even before I was born. That was 15 years ago. I love shopping around and going to see Shannon Tanner at Shelter Cove. We stay at Captains Walk in Palmetto Dunes. The owner at the Convient knows me by name cause we used to go there every year. Now sadly we go to Myrtle Beach now, but i hope to go back soon!

We arrived on tuesday and I had read all your recommendations for great places to eat, and thats just what we did, we had all the great places, Market Street Cafe was super, Aunt Chilades was very nice, tonight we had dinner at Carolina Grill and the food was superb. The owner was delightful and didn't know that he was even on the web, Tomorrow we will go to the Old Oyster Factory, we eat fairly early but enjoy our food and I can't thank you enought for putting these revues on your web site. We have been coming to Hilton Head for several years now, and will be back again next month for my 70th birthday. I look forward to some sweet repeats, and maybe something new. Hilton head is a great place for the whole family. There are plenty of places to eat, and everything is near the beach. We have a timeshare there and it is great, especially when we get down to see the pro tournament at Harbour town. Oh by the way, the golf is great. Every course is beautiful.
