Promising Picassos Exhibition

Event Details

The 25th annual Promising Picassos presented by Island School Council for the Arts (ISCA) Student Art Exhibition opens Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017. The event will unveil incredible emerging artists who explore various mediums to display at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina’s Bank of America room located on the 2nd floor. From Thursday, Feb. 9-Friday, March 17, 2017 the gallery-style display of exceptional student work is open to the public.

Promising Picassos is open to all students, grades 3-12 in the public, private and home schools of southern Beaufort County. In the same way a professional art exhibit would, ISCA provides all frames in order to showcase the works. An opening artist reception will be held Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. for the participating art teachers, students and their parents.

Everyone is invited to attend this inspiring testament to our flourishing arts community and our committed teachers in the arts. For more information about “Promising Picassos,” call ISCA at (843) 686-3945 x212 or Patti Maurer, ISCA Exec. Dir. at (843) 263-5346 isca-online.org.
