Depending on the season, diverse birds can be spotted: Summer Tanager, Eastern Kingbird, Painted Bunting, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Egrets, Herons and many, many others.

Dates for walks include Sept. 14, 20, 28; Oct. 4, 12, 18, 26; and Nov. 1, 9, 15, 29, 2017.

The outing is from 7:30-9:30 a.m. and space is limited (ages 12 and older). Participants are asked to bring their own binoculars and the program will be canceled in case of rain. The program is $12 per person and reservations are required by calling (843) 689-6767 ext. 223 or online at
