This production will be the Lowcountry premiere of this Tony-nominated musical, straight from Broadway last season. Based on the celebrated novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film directed by Tim Burton, BIG FISH centers on Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest, and then some! Edward’s incredible, larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him – most of all, his devoted wife Sandra. But their son Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind his father’s epic tales.
Big Fish will be performed June 26-28 and 30 and July 1-3 and 5 at the Seahawk Cultural Center. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children under 12 years, and can be purchased at the door or by calling (843) 642-8845 or going online at www.BigFishHHI.com, starting June 1.
